May Activity Day

Hi
Despite me trying to wriggle out of it at the pub on Tuesday night I am organising the May activity day.
I have tried to think of something to suit most people in the club, so intend to go to Langstrath in the Lakes, I know it’s a long way but it will be good I promise!
The walkers in the club can test themselves on a grade 2 scramble (Cam Crag Ridge http://www.outdoorsmagic.com/news/article/mps/uan/5204 ) and don’t worry the hardest parts can be avoided. The canoeists can still get wet if they fall off while deep water soloing, a posh way to say climbing above water. Whilst the climbers can either join in the scramble or deep water soloing or spend the day bouldering (http://www.rockfax.com/databases/result ... tml?id=379 or http://www.lakesbloc.co.uk/sei/s/1284/f86.pdf ) and all without lugging about clunky metal bits or even ropes!
In fact the idea is that anyone can do anything they fancy just all within one little valley along with the rest of the club.
Oh and as promised on Tuesday, mainly to get Linz off my back, once everyone has about finished playing I will give a quick lesson to anyone who is interested to teach them the coolest of circus skills (weather permitting). Then of course I’m sure we will refuel in the pub!!
Unfortunately because May is already quite full the only two days I can give you a choice of are 10th or 17th. If you’re interested in coming let me know which day you prefer.
Hope that sounds ok
Gordon
