For the inaugural walk out of my new book I thought we should start local especially as the weather seems a bit unsettled and cold! So meet 10.30am at Deerness centre (grid ref 236423) for 8 miles of easy walking on fields and tracks around Bear Park and Brandon. For those who have never seen Beaurepaire here is your chance!
Either Durham or the Tea barn for tea and cake after. Anyone needing a lift from fram area of Durham just shout.
