I like cake, and I get wobbly if I drink without eating - so I thought it might be nice to see if we could start a cake club on pub nights. I think the pub staff wouldn't mind because they don't do food, not cakes anyway.
The idea would be that we buy a big tin, one person fills it with cakes and brings it to the pub night, then someone else takes the empty tin home for next month...

Sounds like a nice idea. I think we may need two or three cake tins to cover the number of people turning up at the meeting.
