For some time I've had a bit of a fantasy about having a group picnic in an old fashioned way where people can bike, do easy walks, play french cricket or rounders and then eat hamper basket stuff like pork pies and salmon and a bottle of wine! Yet another slalom has been cancelled and I wondered if anyone fancied that sort of day out on Sunday 22nd.
I have thoughts on 2 venues. Either by the rugby club in Durham by the river, where hopefully people could get there by bike, bus or foot and enjoy the wine element, or the top of Bollihope burn where there is also a big grassy bit for rounders and messing about and more scope for anyone wanting to walk or cycle first.
Any interest?

Now now don't be ruled by the weather until you are old! It's a long time away yet and of course this would be weather dependant. Just wanted to know if anyone was interested
