Having more or less kept up with a group this weekend I am very very keen to keep walking.
I'd like to walk from Middleton up to the trees, along the top to Holwick and then down and back along the river. As ever the walk ends in a cafe funnily enough!!
Long term forecast says high pressure and dry.
Anyone fancy joining me - it would be nice to have company.

For all those coming meet 10am at the toilets on the left of the main street through the village. There is a car park just behind the toilets or plenty of parking along the street. Plan is as originally dreamed up - walk up hill, then along and then down and then along and then into the cafe. Should take 4-5 hours. All are very welcome.

A big thank you to Penny for organising the walk, er and Sue for the cake. Beautiful day with stunning views- 9.5 miles round Crossthwaite Common and Holwick Scar and up to 500m in ascent.
