Sage Friday 24 Sep

Post by mike f »

Anyone interested in going to the Sage on 24 Sep.

Anja will be performing as part of the Sinfonia chorus

Programme: Northern Sinfonia and Chorus

Beethoven - Grosse Fugue
Tibbett' s oratorio - A Child in Our Time.

Who has the club banner? - would look good draped over the balcony

I'll be there, naturally, being the founder of the Inofficial Fan Club :)

I'd be up for it - had a look on the website, tickets are from £7.50 - £31. Would it be worth all booking together or at least getting seats which are reasonably close - don't know if Felix already has a ticket? £31 sounds a bit of an expensive night out, but I'd be happy with the middling or cheap seats. Think that Sharon might have been interested too. I don't mind booking tickets on my card if people want to let me know what they think about where they want to sit.

Cheers,

Sue

Thanks Mike, I'll kill you when I see you next
Whilst we are about I might as well advertise the A Capella concert on 27th Novermber as well (two 40-part Motets incl Tallis)

I have booked seats in the second category B (£26.50) a few times and wasn't disappointed. You can sit on the floor level in the front, which is quite good, or on the third level balcony in the rear. There are only a few seats in category C at £21.50 (all of them on the second level at the sides, in the back row), and as far as I can see everything in categories D and E (on the third level at the sides) seems to be sold out already.

So I'd be happy trying category C, if we can secure enough seats next to one another, but I also wouldn't mind spending £5 extra to get some of the nicer seats.
