The Weardale Ski Club Ltd
We will be skiing + boarding tomorrow (Tuesday) and plan to open from about 10:30 for our 20th day skiing this season!
There is still excellent snow coverage with all areas open and huge amounts of snow. The queues we saw over the weekend should be much reduced this week.
The road is likely to be still difficult with icy patches and deep rutts so 4WD or chains are necessary otherwise park of the road and walk.
Please put chains on in the layby between Daddry Shield and the turnoff or at least if you put them on later do not obstruct the road as we have had a few complaints from locals. If you dig in at the side of the road before the carpark then make sure you are fully off the road and not blocking any gates.
