Easter Activities 2011

For the newer members:
Rather than run a weekend over Easter we try to have a number of separate events so that members can dip in and out depending on other commitments over the holiday period. A few people have proposed the activities, summarised below:

Thursday 21 Apr (Evening) - Lost in a Dark Wood - "Orienteering" in Chopwell woods (On foot or bike). Mike F
Friday 22 - Climbing - Scugdale -Wendy
Saturday 23 to 24 Apr- Beryl's Woodland Wonderland - See Bezza's post under This and That
Monday 25 Apr - Walk Northumberland coast - See Penny's post.

Lindsay is also hoping to sort out a leisurely paddle on the Wear, date and details to follow.

Some friends and I are looking into doing Scarfell Pike on Easter Saturday. Anyone who fancies it is more than welcome to come along.

Climbing on Good Friday.

We will be going to Scugdale on Good Friday. Beginners/novices/no experience are all welcome.

I will post more details on Wednesday in the climbing section.
