hi folks
Quite keen on getting back on my bike after having year off. my riding partner moved away and wife had little one, its no excuse but need encouragement. Love spending time Walking/scrambling would like to progress to something more substantial.
Hopefully you will be riding local soon so i can catch up

Hi Richy,
Welcome to DMS. It may be worthwhile coming along to our monthly pub meets at the Tap and Spile in Framwellgate Moor. We meet there on the first Tuesday of each month at 08:00pm. Come along and intruduce yourself (just ask someone to point you at one of the committee members).
I'm not part of the biking crew but i think there's a regular Saturday morning outing for those interested in biking and once the clocks go forward at the end of April there'll also be a Wednesday evening schedule.
The next Tap and Spile evening is Tuesday March 1st - hopefully see you there.

Hi Richy
I one of the regulars on the Saturday mornings, it starts at 7:30 in front of the lodge pub. Other rides are on an ad hoc basis so keep an eye on the biking section of the forum. Sam will be at the next Pub night, she be able to tell you more.
