The Weardale Ski Club Ltd
Finally the snow has arrived and is falling quite heavily as I write this. There was only a little thin and wet covering this morning (Thursday) but it is now falling quite heavily in Weardale. Prospects look good for the weekend and there may even be some skiing tomorrow if the forecast low temperatures arrive overnight. Please look at the webcam (www.skiweardale.com), read the weather forecasts and if you plan to come up check the answerphone (01388 527527) before travelling.
Please remember to pack a shovel in your car and park at a 45 degree angle at the carpark. Also it is recommended to bring snow chains and if needed put them on at the bottom of the road up to the slopes.
Who knows we may have our first white christmas for a while!!
