The Weardale Ski Club Ltd
There has been some skiing today but I am told conditions were not that good and the snow cover quite thin especially towards the end of the day. A pity really because we had visits from reporters from Radio Tees, Radio Newcastle and The Times Financial Magazine - on what has been the worst day skiing we have had this season! There are no plans to open tomorrow and unless there is some more snow before the weekend little prospect of opening then.
They have fared a little better over the Hill at Yad Moss although the report tonight says snow cover was getting a bit patchy towards the end of the day. However they are planning to open tomorrow from about 10:30 am so if you fancy a trip have a look over there - website is http://www.yadmoss.co.uk/index.htm
On a happier note the webcam is now working again - shame it is showing receeding snow levels!

Yad Moss has been open but is likely to be closed after thursday - so no sliding this weekend 
Apparently more snow is on its way from later next week with possible blizzards on northern and scottish hills.. (fingers crossed!)

Rubbish!! Really wanted to go, just got my snow chains, so I can drive up the road to Weardale!
