The Weardale Ski Club Ltd
Sunday 14th Dec - yet another superb day skiing/boarding. This is proving to be the best start to a season for many years. F1 + F2 have been running for over 50 hours on 5 days and we aren't even halfway through December.There was some very nice powder snow especially higher up combined with sunny skies, no wind and cold weather. Around 50 people enjoyed themselves today, some even picknicking at the top of F2 to top up their tans! The early part of the day saw an inversion in the weather with clouds in the valley floor + sun on the slopes - very scenic.
There will be skiing tomorrow but the lifts won't be operating until after 10:30am but please check the answerphone before travelling - the message will be updated before 10am. The forecast is good for tomorrow though getting milder so the skiing will be better early on.
