Durham Lumiere 12th November (Thursday)

As we will be away for the Duddon Valley trip, Liz and I are planing to go to the lumiere on the 12th (Thursday).

This was a really fab event 2 years (and 4 years) ago, I'm excited to see what they will be doing this year - my favorite one from 2 years ago was the fire in the Cathedral gardens!

I suggest to meet in the Bridge Pub at the bottom of Durham railway station hill (under the viaduct) at 7.00 for a drink or two and then we can walk around

I think tickets have sold out, at least there were none at the Gala for Thursday when I rang last week But before 16:30 or after 19:30 you can queue to get in anyway.

I was thinking of leaving work early so I can get in just before the restriction period. Will come and meet you guys for a drink on my way home, or maybe we can go around some of the installations outside the centre? Can you get there before 7?
