Hi all,
Over the few years or so I've taken a keen interest in getting involved in outdoor sports, in particular Scuba and freediving although also done some hill walking including Scafell Pike and Snowdon. I did start some indoor climbing, but not having friends who shared my enthusiasm for this, it tailed off.
I'd really like to get back into climbing, my skills are basic as only been independently a handful of times and eventually transfer to outdoor climbing and lead climbing. I'd also love to learn some more mountain skill in particular scrambling and some winter skills.
I've read on the page about this not being a professional teaching club, but should I join in the hope of developing my skills in these areas under the wings of the experienced members, or should I be looking for specific professional courses in these areas?
Thanks in anticipation!
J
