In an attempt to push for some early season multi pitch climbing, who wants to go over to the Lakes and climb Black Crag with me this weekend.

It will just be a day trip so its up early and arrive over there for 09:00am and we'll climb Troutdale Pinnacle.

Obviously its all weather permitting so...

We go over on which ever is the dryest day of the weekend.

If its wet all weekend then we go somewhere else back here on the east coast.
If its wet here on the east coast then we go to Sunderland Wall on Saturday.
If Sunderland Wall is hit by a comet or something then we go, hmmmmmm surfing perhaps ? :-)

Chris.

Black crag is in Borrowdale, not too far from shepphards crag and the famous shepphards crag farm cafe. Troutdale Pinnacle is one of the most popular classic multi pitch climbs in the lakes, and so is often very busy, get their early or prepare to queue :!:

Daniel,

Yup car share would be fine with me. Just pray the weather stays dry (its not looking too promising at the moment :-( )

I've got the guide book that covers Borrowdale so no probs there.

Chris.

Afternoon all,

right then its a case of rain-stops-play as far as the Lakes in concerned. It also looks like Saturday morning will have showers on the east coast so we've decided (thats me and Danny) to go to Sunderland Wall Saturday at 13:00.

See you there maybe.

Chris.
