Banff mountain film festival is back at Whitley Bay in 2015. Two nights this time, Thurs 7 & Fri 8 May. Also on at Yarm Sat 9 May.

The BANFF MOUNTAIN FILM FESTIVAL features an exhilarating selection of short films that will transport you to the most captivating places on earth. Through the big screen experience amazing stories of adventure, journey to remote landscapes and mountain cultures, and witness adrenaline-fueled actions sports.
An inspiring experience that captures the spirit of adventure with great giveaways and prizes as well!
For DOUBLE THE ADVENTURE, also come along to the Banff screening on 8 May and experience two entirely different programmes of Banff festival films. 2 night discounts are available (£23/ £19 concessions)
Films start at 7.30pm. The bar opens at 6:30pm so come for a pre-film drink!

Because the film starts fairly early I realise it could be difficult for some people going for a meal beforehand.
So, afterwards a few of my pals are going to the Takdir Indian Restaurant on the sea front as it's open until 1:30am.
