Walk Saturday 24th January

Canny turn out last week and so far an excellent sunny forecast for this weekend. I have heard rumours of an excellent cafe near Sedgefield so would like to go there. The book says 6-8 miles depending on whether you visit Hardwick Hall (I'd like to!) across easy paths and tracks. Meet 10.30 at the church - grid ref 356288.
Let me know if you are coming so I look out for you and if anyone wants a lift from Durham I can take three as long as they like my dog!

All the guide book says is the parish church but it is on the green apparently. There is now 6 of us so enough people roaming around to find each other! Look for my border collie.

Apparently road works outside the church so park up and meet at the Hope Inn
