Hi all 2 years have passed since the last one and this years promises to be bigger and better. The plan is to meet at the bridge for 7:30 and have a couple of pints before going to see the installations. When we last went because we went later it was less crowded so am hoping it will be the same. Please post here if you are planning to come so we can wait for you. The plan is also to go for a drink after wandering around so its looking good. Don't forget to bring your camera.

I've heard this year you will need tickets to go into the city centre, not sure where to get them, but thought I'd let you know.

Tickets only apply if you go early from 4:30 due to overcrowding and to allow people with young families to attend without crowd problems if you go after 7:30 you don't need a ticket. If you want to go early you can get them from the gala and its 6 per household

Better to go after the crowds when you don't need tickets. We got it perfect last year and I am very keen to do the same this year. Meet at the pub and get to the cathedral late meant we had the place to ourselves really. Very keen to go again...count me in!
