Opening in Newcastle in the next few weeks is a new venue called Lane 7.
On 2 floors; it's a bowling alley with the only mahogany floor in the UK complete with original American 1950's ball return mechs. There's a bar, an American diner, pool tables, pinball tables and a kareoke booth!
Sounds like the ideal venue for a social?

Sounds great Steve. I think we'll probably look into a date at the beginning of next year as I've got next month planned and December will be at the Bridge for the annual xmas night out
