Day Walk Sunday 29th April

I've a friend I went trekking with coming up to Durham for the weekend and the plan is to walk locally in Weardale on Sunday - possibly Rookhope. She only lives in Darlington and I've been trying to persuade her to join DMS. Anone wanting to join us is very welcome and you never know this friend might join if she meets some of our charming membership!!

If there are any more takers for a walk Sunday, the definite plan is to meet at Rookhope 10.30am for a round of Bolt's Law and return above Stanhope. Please let me know if you are likely to join us.

This has now been refined to include a cafe and art gallery at Stanhope after the walk - please let me know if you are coming. There are 4 definites and 2 maybes so far. The forecast is good. Start time 10.30 anywhere in Rookhope - it is a small place!!
