Ok, this is not quite the usual DMS day activity - but i'm looking for some volunteers who are available on the morning of Saturday 31st march to help me build a 20 metre zip wire in my garden!

The challenge is to get a couple of fifteen foot telegraph poles into five foot deep holes - the logistics will be half the fun - suggestions welcome!

Your reward will be brunch/lunch, a great sense of achievement, and an invitation back to play on the zip once the concrete has set.

(Those of you who were involved in the concrete path/crazy golf, rest assured this is a much easier job!)

x Linz

P.S. If you need my address/phone number/directions - send me a private message and i'll reply.

I forgot to say that the holes have already been dug, and the poles are up the hill beside their final resting place, so the job is only to lift them into position somehow, and secure them while the concrete is poured in! I've already got some workers pressganged into service, but a few more willing hands might make the job a bit easier and more fun!

Hi Lindsay,

I should be able to turn up and give a hand, for the promise of lashings of Ginger Beer!
