The comedy night is planned for Friday 23rd March at the Stand in Newcastle on High Bridge Street.
Please add to post if you are interested and pm me your mobile number (if I don't already have it).
I have posted this well in advance to see how many are interested and whether we need to book tables.
Let me know if you would like to eat in the club before the show starts or in the bistro.

The Friday Show - 23 Mar 2012
Friday 23rd March 2012
There’s no better way to end the working week than with The Friday Show. Our ace comperes, seasoned headliners and roster of up and coming home grown comedians combine in this two hour live show. There’s five acts on every bill including the very best comics from the UK and beyond. Hot food available in the club or arrive a bit earlier to try our fab pre-theatre menu in the upstairs bistro.
With Silky, George Zach, Alan Fletcher and host Jo Caulfield.
Doors: 19:30 Show: 20.30
Full: £10.00
Conc: £9.00
On street level, our cafe bar will be open all day every day so you can drop in for tickets and info any time, and maybe sample a flavour of what we’re all about. Quite simply we aim to provide the best value, home cooked food in Newcastle. Like our comedy our food is fresh and original: the chicken’s free range and the meat’s well hung. Our menus will offer food that is seasonal, fresh and full of flavour. Nothing frozen, no factory made ready meals in sight, it’s all cooked here by our own fair hands.
Different menus will run through the day - join us for a homemade scone and coffee in the morning, or for great value lunches that are fast and fresh. In the evening enjoy our more extensive pre-show dinner menu in the evenings before heading downstairs. If you’re short on time there’s a limited line-up of classic dishes in the venue itself – including the best burgers in town.
We’ve fresh coffee all day long, scrumptious snacks, decent wine list and a range of whiskies and liqueurs and selected craft beers for grownups to enjoy responsibly. We don’t do alcopops, and we’ve no trebles for a quid.
If you like it al fresco, check out our sheltered courtyard for some peace and quiet – it’s a real little haven in the centre of the
