Hi Penny - Im still up for doing this walk. Scamp at vets on Wednesday and should hopefully find out if he needs an operation so will confirm for definate late wednesday. Is there any possibility of walking on the Saturday rather than the Sunday?

Sorry jayne but no. I'm paddling Saturday. My dog Jack not so brilliant...old age catching up with him. Still up for walk Sunday if anyone else coming?

Scamp won't be able to join us - hes having his op next week but I'm still up for a walk on Sunday.

We had a brilliant walk - shame others couldn't make it. It's easy to overlook Wensleydale. We walked round Redmire via Aysgarth Falls and Castle Bolton. Mostly dry but one snow shower left a very attractive dusting on the hills.
I'm going to do North Yorkshire again for a day post. To get there today was just under an hour.
Can't forget the fantastic massive pot of tea and huge slab of cake in the pub after - magic day out!!
