Hi all,

This year some of us went on a ski trip , it proved very successful so I’m organising another one for 2012.

Departure date will be Feb 4th 2012, resort has not yet been confirmed but we’re looking at a catered chalet somewhere that could get everyone in with ensuite rooms for all. There could be a large group of us going so I want to get this arranged asap.

This sort of trip isn’t cheap, this year ,just to get self catered accommodation and a lift pass was £600 so we’re expecting to pay between £600 - £700 per head for catered chalet and then (most) lift passes in alpine resorts are around £180 - £200 for 6 days.

People may want to wait till later in the year to join the group but they will have to book up the holiday themselves and there’s no guarantee they’ll get into the same accommodation etc – thats fine but for those who want to book up as a group it will be done sooner rather than later.

actually looking at a chalet in Les Carroz which friends of mine are going to next week. DBB 7nights 700 Euros. En suite, Michelin starred chef, wine with meals, afternoon tea.

Hi Lee, glad your interested in next year's trip.

We're off to St Anton, Austria for the week starting Feb 4th 2012.
Staying at catered Chalet Schweiger.

If anyone else is interested in going theres one small room left at the chalet with sofa beds in it.
Or you can book up in another hotel in resort and we'll see you there !

An update on our ski trip.

One member of our group has a friend who is interested in coming along but needs a partner to fill the last available room in the chalet.
So if there are any keen female skiers out who are interested then please reply to this email.

One point to note - the last room only offers a single bed and a sofa bed rather than the regular twin beds.

Hopefully those huge snowfalls shold mean we have nice piste conditions.

All it needs is a little 'top-up' about 3 or 4 days before we go and it'll be fab !


Just remember Kirsty - you and Mal still need to buy lift passes when you get there but the exchange rate isn't too bad at the moment.
