new social events
Wendy and I will be getting together soon ro put together the social calender for next year. So if you have anything to suggest then here is your chance. The ice skating, open house and the curry night was a great success. So if you have any social events you would like the club to have please add to this post. More details will follow soon.

Re: new social events
How about a club trip to Kates new restaurant in Morpeth? Bit of a drive out but I'm sure the food will be worth it.

Re: new social events
It would be good to go to Kate's restaurant. The train from Durham is around £10. Last one back 22.22 Monday to Friday. Unfortunately the last one 21:15 on Saturday's so could get the train or car share depending on the night we go.
Other ideas, Seaham Hall Twilight Spa evening. Not exclusive to ladies, men go too. Usually £45 or £55 pounds for 2 hours spa and then meal. Pay for drinks separately so a bit pricy but in November and December they have £10 off selected dates. We could watch out for similar next year.
Or how about a night at the dogs. I have never been but heard its a good laugh and reasonable.
Bring on the social stuff.

Re: new social events
We managed to discuss some social events at the weekend. Here's a brief list of some of the suggestions:
Night out to Pelaw Grange Dog Racing Stadium
Curry Train (Newcastle to Corbridge and back to Newcastle)
Family BBQ day at Hamsterley
Trip to Beetroot cafe and grill
Ice skating evening
Meal at Eslington Villa, Low Fell
Pamper nights at Seaham Hall
If you have any other suggestions please let us know.
Sam and myself will post more details later.
