Open House on Thursday 30th September

Hi all
I now have the menu for the Open House meal on Thursday 30th September.
The cost is £29.00 per person. Drinks are not included. Drink prices are reasonable and the Open House have a good selction of wine and spirits and some beers/lagers.
This is the last time we will be able to use the Open House as Chris and Phil are retiring and this was the only available date I could get.
The menu is as follows:
To begin:
Steamed North Atlantic Mussels in the Shell with ginger and green onions.
Crispy baked camembert with a warmed redcurrant jelly.
Our famous Eggy Bread topped with cheddar and chives.
Hedgehop Pate (looks like).
Devilled Tiger Prawns wrapped in bacon.
For all to enjoy:
Homemade roast vegatable soup.
To follow:
Lamb Tikka Malaysian with pineapple and banana.
Beef a La Bourginione a classic dish.
Fillets of Trout in lettuce parcels.
Robert Carriers Calf's Liver with sage and avocado.
Meditarranean Chicken with garlic tomatoes and onion.
All main courses served with a selection of fresh vegetables in season.
To conclude:
Baked Alaska - our early day's trademark for two persons.
Amaretto Souffle Glace.
Home-made Treacle Tart with delicious vanilla ice cream.
Joanne's Apple and Blackberry Muffins - scrumptious.
Brandied cherries served with orange cream.
A selection of English and continental cheeses with fresh fruit and celery.
A bottomless coffee pot and chocolate truffles and mints.
Chris and Phil can provide a vegetarian main meal if requested and other dietary requests.

I will need full payment as soon as possible to secure the booking.
The evening starts at 7.30pm and normally ends about 11.30pm. The Open House is situated in Burnhope (between Lanchester and Stanley).
