How about a visit to the Black Sheep Brewery in Masham on Friday 11th June.
The Brewery/Visitor Centre is open until 11.00pm with a bar and bistro. Brewery tours can be arranged for the evening.
There is a campsite (Old Station Yard Campsite) 0.6 miles from the Brewery. Cost for the campsite is £7.00 per person per night.
On the Saturday we could have a day's climbing at Brimham Rocks or local walks for those not wanting to climb.
If you are interested in visiting the Brewery, can you add to post and indicate your preferences:
If you would like to have a tour of brewery or just meal/drink in bar.
If you want to stay at campsite for Friday or Friday and Saturday night.
I have not booked anything yet, so please add to post if interested and I will make bookings asap.
Thanks
Wendy

Hi
I have been in touch with the old station yard campsite and they still have some pitches left for 11th and 12th june.
But we need to book asap.
Tel no is 01765 689569.
I think it would be best if people booked individually. £7.00 per person per night.
I have booked for Keith and me for friday and sat night.
I plan to go to brewery on friday night, climb sat and bbq on
Sat nite. Bar is open at brewery until 10.30, but if people want to do tour let me know.
Wendy

Just booked for the Friday night

. I checked with the campsite and they said there are only 5 tent pitches left for that night, so if you're thinking about going I'd book your tent pitch asap.

Pete, myself, Matthew and Lucy are planning to head over for the Saturday to do a walk, as we can't get hold of a climbing harness for a 4 week old. It will be bridleways for us, as we are likely to have our all terrain buggy for Lucy. We will bringing a picnic for the day as well. If anybody would be interested then you are welcome to join us. Ice creams are compulsory after the walk....

Hi
Kirsty, Keith and I hope to be in the bar at the Black Sheep Brewery for about 7.30 on Friday. Tents hopefully up before this.
The campsite does a cooked breakfast, so we'll probably eat there before heading to Brimham Rocks for 10.00 on Saturday morning.
Hope we can meet up with the other DMS members who are going for a walk, we could have lunch/picnic together at the rocks.
It would great if a few more climbers could join us.
Let me know
Wendy

Family Askey and Family Burrows had a good day out at the rocks, we looked for the climbers but didn't spot them! Proof tha you were there though as I noticed an (equine) car in the car park with a DMS sticker on the side....
Ice creams were, as Greg says on Masterchef, 'lovely',
