Westgate - Rookhope Walk, Sat 10th April 2021

Hi all. I'm planning on doing a group walk on Saturday 10th April now that we can start group activities again.

Meet at Westgate 10:00am at the layby car parking opposite the caravan site on the main road DL13 1JN or https://goo.gl/maps/XTEYLHU9D4s6vWzR8

Plan is do to a walk circular 10 mile walk up to Rookhope via Middlehope Valley and open moorland, returning following a disused mineral railway line along the route of the Weardale Way.

There is an option to do a longer walk of around 15 miles to include Bolts Law should the weather be good and people feel up to it.
