Day Walk Sunday June 14th

Due to a clash of dates the June walk will be on Sunday June 14th. I plan to do Blencathra in the Lakes.

Unfortunately I have damaged my achilles and will be unable to walk. I was going to do Blencathra. If anyone else is interested please feel free to do a walk, either a walk of your choice or Blencathra.

Nigel, sorry to hear about your injury, hope you recover soon.
I still intend to get out over the weekend.
I would be equally happy to either stick to the original plan of a Blencathra on Sunday, or to do something else on Saturday. At the moment the weather forecast for Saturday appears to be better! If anyone else fancies a walk out please post here.

Just to confirm. Jim and I will be going to do Blencathra from Mungisdale tomorrow.
If there are any last minute takers, who want to meet us there, we will be starting from Mungisdale about 0945 - 10am. But you will need to post to let us know to look out for you.

We have just come back from a day in the Lakes - we walked from Whitewater Dash around to the back of Skiddaw - it was sunny with a light wind.
