Happy Fridays!!

Wendy and I have put our heads together to blast out the Friday night social sessions. A couple of enthusiastic members wanted real ale pubs and a variety of destinations.

The next Happy Friday is on 20th March, starts at 7.30pm and is to be at the Victoria Pub which is just up from the students union. Let the forum know if you are intending to meet.

Anyone know what the Vic is like for letting young people in? We'll probably be dragging our battle-weary bodies to a pub after polo practice, but if the Vic won't have us, we'll have to head someplace else...

the vic is child friendly - my kids (2 and 4 ) have been known to join me for a packet of crisps and a glass of lemonade early on a friday evening - although we don't tend to stay very late
