Hi Wendy, many thanks for getting back to me. Next Tuesday would be great if transport is available. Let me know what I need to do/bring - I have bouldering kit (though no crash pad) and a harness in Durham at the moment.

until then, cheers
James

Hi James

Sorry for the delay in replying to your post.

We will be starting indoor climbing in 2 weeks time.

We are heading to Causey (near Tanfield Railway) next Tuesday evening, if you fancy joining us. Please add to post and we'll see if we can sort out a lift for you.

Though I've been in Durham for a couple of years, I'm hoping to join the club and find people to walk and climb with now that university friends are moving away.

I'm based in central Durham doing a PhD, though don't have a car at present. I mostly do fell running and bouldering (and via ferrata, on holiday!), and am hoping to step up to sport and maybe trad climbing in preparation for next summer.

I've been away for the last few weeks so couldn't make the put meet, but am now back in Durham for the foreseeable. Perhaps I could join you tomorrow eve if there's space in a car?

cheers
James
